The Leaf Village Academy is a huge building in the Leaf Village located directly at the base of the mountain and serves as a place where Academy Students are trained to become Genin.
Classes[]
Once young shinobi enroll into the Leaf Academy they become Academy Students and are met by head instructor Yori in the main classroom of the building.
Academy Students are required to successfully complete four basic classes in order to be allowed to take their Genin Exam.
Theory Lesson[]
Theory Class
Students are taught three basic concepts during the Theory Lesson:
Techniques Lesson[]
Ninjutsu Class
Instructor: Shizuna
Students acquire the basics of ninjutsu during the Techniques Lesson held by Shizuna.
Having learned the use of scrolls studenst are then taught how to utilize one of the basic jutsus called the Body Flicker Technique.
Tools Lesson[]
Tools Class
Instructor: Kimi
During the Tools Lesson students are educated on the basic use of ninja tools and their application in long range combat.
In order to complete the lesson Academy Students must land 5 hits on the targets to their right.
Basic Combat Lesson[]
Taijutsu Class
Instructor: Satoshi
The Basic Combat Lesson serves to teach students the basics of taijutsu in hand to hand combat.
Students are expected to defeat Satoshi's shadow clone and are bound to fail the first time which leads them to experience their first battle injuries.
Heeding their instructors advice on "pulling themselves together after defeat" they are allowed to fight the shadow clone for a second time.
Genin Exam[]
Exam Room
Upon completing all four basic classes Academy Students are allowed to take their Genin exam.
In order to receive a passing mark on the Basic Theory exam students must answer all 20 questions on the test correctly.
Graduation[]
Graduation Ceremony
Once finished, Academy Students are required to hand in their tests to head instructor Yori who hands them their Academy Graduation Slip and instructs them to proceed to the main hall of the Academy for their Graduation.
As part of the Graduation Ceremony, students receive their first Forehead Protector and are promoted to the rank of Genin.
